Foraging Workshop by TheSeedGuild (5.18.25)
Sunday, May 18th | 2:00pm-4:00pm Led by: Kari from TheSeedGuild
Long before farming began, indigenous communities relied on the bountiful natural landscape to provide them with a full and balanced diet. Join us as we learn the basics of wild food foraging here on the 'farm'. Topics covered will include safety, tools, recommended books, techniques, and conservation practices. Rain or shine, a portion of our time will be outdoors for a plant walk for hands-on learning and plant identification.
You’ll learn the basics and/or deepen your understanding of wild edibles and how to incorporate them into nourishing meals. Come along as we reconnect to the abundance of nature.
Suggestions: Water bottle, snacks, weather appropriate clothing, hat, hiking or rain boots.
